Possible event idea.

The basic idea is that there are like 4 small villages that join together and try to make a name for themselves by attacking the main villages. The small allied villages have sleeper cells in each main village. An insignia appears on random walls in each village with messages that signify a change or threat to each village. Maybe like a IC week or two after the insignias show up a coordinated attack is launched on Kiri, Suna, and Konoha. The attackers get into the villages through openings that the sleeper cells have marked.

I was thinking that there would be like 3 sleepers in each village. 4 Leaders of the small villages of Jounin skill level. 5 Vet.Genin to Chuunin in each attack party during the coordinated attacks.

No more than a IC month I guess.
