Clan Speciality/Kekkei Genkai: Taru (Tar) Release
Tar Release is a refinement of the Earth (Doton) Release. To use this release one must be able to convert their Earth chakra into Tar chakra, which is a special way done by the Taruyuzu clan (Tar Users).

Makikomu Taru Kaifuku (Literally meaning “Engulfing Tar Recovery”)
Ability information: The user of this technique creates an amount of tar the size of the wound to engulf it. The tar glows a slight green as chakra is channeled into it, able to heal the physical damage of any major/minor wound, but nothing fatal. The user can also utilize this on their own wound(s), but it’s important to remember that while the tar is engulfing that area it limits mobility, and sometimes immobilizes movement.

Taru Mizu Shodoku-zai (Literally meaning “Tar Water Disinfectant”)
Ability information: The user mixes their tar element with their water element into some type of container. When this is drunk, the tar water acts as a disinfectant; able to disinfect wounds, or cure poisons.

Taru Muchi(Literally meaning “Tar Whip”)
Ability information: The user spits a substantial amount of tar onto their hand(s), which can then be used as a whip, and spread thinner to stretch further distances. The tar in this jutsu is pretty sticky, and can be used to wrap around areas on the opponent.

Fusen Taru Juugan (Literally meaning “Sticky Tar Bullet”)
Ability information: The user shoots out a circular formation of tar from their mouth, which acts as a bullet. If it hits the target, not only does it hurt, but it seems to stick the target. This can minimize mobility for a period of time.

Samui Taru Yoroi (Literally meaning “Cold Tar Armor”)
Ability information: The user spits out tar which spreads around their body and cools, to harden it. This makes for very durable and lasting armor. And, since it’s cooled, it doesn’t cause things to stick to them. It also forms to the user’s body, as not to reduce mobility.

Clan Backstory (5+ Paragraphs):

The Taryuzu clan has only recently been re-discovered, but do have roots back in time. The clan's sole founder is still, to this day, unknown. And much of the clan history has been lost over time. The Taryuzu clan dates back a long way in history. They started out as travellers, with many Shinobi professions. Much of the ability wasn't widely known to the clan, and they all seemed to discover these one by one. But it wasn't until later when they each started to refine their Doton Release, that they could use the Taru Release. This Release wasn't just done by a mastery of their Doton though, chakra had to be used in a special way; and it goes unsaid on how the first users discovered the use.

The Taryuzu clan settled in many villages throughout history, and sometimes didn't at all. A lot of them died out from disease, or misuse of their own technique: Tar Water Disinfectant. Again, this was mainly due to the fact that these techniques were only slowly being developed; mostly by trial and error. But when the shinobi started using them, they noticed that the Tar itself acted to slow down mobility, and in some cases, even cause the target to become immobile. All of the techniques have advantages and drawbacks.

Because the clan spread their numbers so thin, they constantly traveled to and from each other. And sometimes even without permission. This slowly caused suspicion to raise up against the clan as a whole, and their own friends betrayed them. For quite a long time members were being hunted down and killed. This also went with the tensions that were arising at the time between each village. They all have a long history of both peace, and war against each other. Well...at least a lot of them.

But the Taryuzu clan wasn't all persecuted. They eventually came to stumble across one major village, run by Shinobi; Konohagakure. Here the clan decided to take up secrecy. Hiding their techniques and unique abilities. Hiding their past. And this even caused some people just to die out without passing on heirs, thinking that they themselves wouldn't want to have to do this; to hide themselves.

Slowly passed down through the line, the jutsus were slowly beginning to be rediscovered by Tiberius' parents' parents (his grandparents). It seems the jutsus are normally discovered around the teenage years, sometimes after or during puberty. But can also be discovered after, when the use with Doton has become rather skilled. Tiberius' grandparents actually found scrolls from generations before outlining the techniques, and the results as to trial and error tests to them. And soon it will be time for Tiberius to learn of his clan. (If I get approved =D)
